Greasemonkey 3.31.4 oddity

Unread post by Goodydino » 2022-10-07, 20:19

Why does Greasemonkey 3.31.4 stop anything from being installed into add-ons when enabled? I have to disable it to install add-ons.

That depends entirely on what scripts you are running.

Or extensions. No such problem here. If you have extensions that modify the addons manager maybe there is some conflict. I use All in one sidebar so that most components that usually are in separate windows open in the sidebar instead, and the addon manager works fine in this mode.

My Greasemonkey scripts affect web pages, not the interface. The only thing I have that affects the add-ons window is the theme I use, which changes the colours.

Uh, it can't do that because it never was designed to affect the interface. It's a script manager for webpages.
