Browser Extension question....

Unread post by JCLOD » 2021-12-18, 00:16

Hello!
I would like to know please, IF there has been any progress on any forks for LastPass to work on PaleMoon versions passed 29.1.1?....& if so, can anyone please point me to it...if not, any plans or 1 alternative that would work VERY similar [ I NEED 1 that has a browser add-on, Free & auto log in options within extension.
I would like to update my browser, but I always DO check nowadays, IF this issue has been worked around or fixed....or even as well, reverted back.

Thx.

James.

Extensions meant for websites can only be provided and maintained by the author of the website, so nobody other than Lastpass can help you here.

Thx......but do you know of any forks or similar ones that would work within PaleMoon or just use the 1 that the Browser provides?.......I have never liked tho, the option of having to go manually into desired sites in order for auto fills to show up...instead that is why I always liked the auto log in option from programs/apps w/ toolbars such as LastPass.

I never used LastPass or any password related extension.
Two questions out of curiosity though. Does the extension still work for you with version 29.1.1?
Can you install your LastPass on version 29.2.0?

Yes, it does work w/ version prior to or 29.1.1.......NOT with any one passed that.......to install an older version it is best to FULLY uninstall previous 1, everything related, restart device, then install the one you want.

As far as I can remember, the main change from 29.1.1 to 29.2.0 was that it became mandatory for extensions to target Pale Moon.
This change was reverted starting with 30.0.0.
