FYI, the developer of this extension has re-appeared on the NoSquint Github.
However they've made it clear that they've moved on from using Pale Moon a while ago.

Well I got permission to use the Add-on ID.. It is assumed that the branding is in the public domain along with the code. So if someone wants to send me, via Forum PM, the hacked version I will take casual charge unless someone else wants to take full charge over the extension.
May be a few days tho before I get it sorted from when someone sends me a modified copy.EbonJaeger wrote:2021-11-16, 18:20Hello,
This is a reply to the email I received. I wasn't sure if I could reply via email directly, so I'll try this.
The answer is yeah, feel free to do what you want with it.
Cheers

Yes i do that. Now we know why.back2themoon wrote: ↑2021-11-15, 19:30Do you perhaps clear browser data/site preferences after every session? That will clear the zoom settings.
I was not thinking about this because NoSquint did not care about.
So if the zoom levels would be saved in a different place, the browser should remember the sites and their zoom levels.

Or if you do not clear Site Preferences. You can still clear the rest (Browsing history etc.) and the zoom controls will be remembered.

God forbid the application has functions that do exactly what they say on the tin.
Re: NoSquint addon breaks browser's media playback page
I'm totally late on this, but I just want to point out that, as I mentioned near the bottom of the page on that Github issue, a portable copy of Pale Moon 26.5.0 was archived by archive.org as long as you click the "Pale Moon mirror #1" download link.back2themoon wrote: ↑2021-11-13, 14:34There was an unconfirmed report that older -and now unavailable- Pale Moon versions did not display this issue.
HTML5 media controls are missing when directly viewing HTML5-compatible media files
Nevertheless it seems like I never did establish that even 27.0.3, albeit in non-portable form, was indeed archived. I have added a new comment on the aforementioned github issue mentioning that as well as where the archived installer can be found.

Maybe you are right, but it makes it so much more comfortable.New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2021-11-20, 12:12God forbid the application has functions that do exactly what they say on the tin.
Another reason i use PM is that i can use different DownloadManager (internal and external) with Addons and GrabIt.
New FF is just PainInA..
