What about it? Have you tried installing it if you need it?

Pale Moon still supports NPAPI that Adobe Flash uses, but Adobe Flash itself contains a time bomb in the last versions making it refuse to work.

Not to forget windows update KB4577586 removing flash from the system and making it impossible to install it again.

Doesn't that only affect Active X Flash included with Windows since Win 8?

Do not use a newer version than 32.0.0.371 as they contain timebombs.I run the flash plugin in pale moon just fine.

@AI6bus.
Why bother with the patch when the previous flash versions work just fine.

There are hundreds or thousands of people using flash. There are security threats in flash as it was discontinued by Adobe, maybe just not the hell announced by most who were opposed to the technology for distinct reasons to its quality back in the day there was the push against it, and emulators or interpreters are absolute garbage.

Now wait just a damned minute.

There are and always have been and always will be security issues with flash especially since it is discontinued now. Just a fact of life and you should use it with caution and at your own risk.

Not strictly true eduardo,it can still be exploited but i use known and trusted flash game sited.
the projector can also be used which runs on the desktop.
I have just over 50,000 flash swf game files downloaded and have seen no issues.

Yes, i was absolutely irresponsible, not to say childish and almost narrative-pushing, in my words. Discontinued software is always a risk. I will be editing what i've said ASAP. Sorry for the trouble.

Flash throughout its history has had loads of security issues as most internet-connected software has. When something like that had such popularity is discontinued that's it it is discontinued and won't get any new security updates but that doesn't mean new ones won't be discovered.

I did not say not to use it I said it should be used with caution and at your own risk but to say it is and always will be perfectly safe is just the kind of thing that whole groups and dare I say entire black hat industries are created to take advantage of.

I wish they had just kept it as depercated but security updated with no new features through this decade. But the kill plugins agenda had to go forward because it serves Google's intrests.
