h264ify Windows 7

Unread post by djalin » 2021-06-19, 16:47

Good morning, I installed your wonderful browser on a fairly old system, and I'm a little confused - because I did not find h264ify - is there any analogue?

Without it, it's pretty hard for my iron. Windows 7

Thanks.

You don't need it.

If you have very poor hardware that can't handle WebM videos, you can disable WebM and MSE for WebM in Preferences -> Content. This achieves the exact same as the minimalistic extension, as far as i know.

(you probably also want to disable AV1 because that isn't accelerated at all)

Can you also please not create duplicate threads in another language. It is counter productive.
