eventually I'd settle on another browser
Which other browser is going to run extensions the youngest of which haven't been updated in 4 years?

CookieKeeper - caa:addon/cookiekeeper - a cookie manager
Oh yeah, a cookie manager. I mean there totally isn't a single native one for Pale Moon already, is there?

And, before anyone asks, the third is LastPass free
And before you pay attention (again) - proprietary extensions CANNOT be forked, let alone ones that depend on online services that keep changing over the years.

Thank you for your response.
Which other browser is going to run extensions the youngest of which haven't been updated in 4 years?
I think it's possible you have taken me out of context. My context was that even PM is not critical for me. It is by far my preferred browser, but if there was no PM, that does not mean that I would no longer browse - I'd just use another browser. Similarly, if neither of those extensions are replaceable, I'll just have to make other arrangements.
Oh yeah, a cookie manager. I mean there totally isn't a single native one for Pale Moon already, is there?
In this particular case, that particular cookie manager does a particular task for a particular site for me. I have tried the various other cookie managers, and none seem capable of doing that particular task.
proprietary extensions CANNOT be forked
I understand that. Please note that I asked for assistance with two extensions, neither of which was LastPass. I did mention that there were three extensions that I felt I wanted and I named two of them. I only mentioned LastPass as I thought it was probably inevitable that someone would ask what the third extension was. Silly me for mentioning it.

Oh, come off it.

The Pale Moon community does not act like a religious group.

In fact, the people here hold various different beliefs.

Off-topic:
The PM community may not act like a religious movement, but as individuals are we not religious in our use of PM? Do we not hold that PM is the best browser for each of us? I am and I do.

I've been religiously using PM since 2015 (I can't track my usage back any further than that, and that's only because I've got a postcard with a datestamp on it). I'd suggest that there are plenty of people who have been using it for much longer ... is that not religious? (hypothetical)

CookieKeeper already supports Pale Moon as per the CAA page, again if only you'd read it first.

Thank you for your useful response. I didn't check that thread as, among other reasons, I didn't consider that extension critical (for me).

Again, silly me.

Foobar ( / Omnibar) -- would be very useful
Remove It Permanently -- less important, but nice to have

Big oof. Looks like I'll be using 29.1.1 for a while. These are my vital extensions:

Context Menu Image Saver (Save images to custom locations directly from the context menu)
https://github.com/choobin/cmis

CookieCuller (Delete all cookies on startup except a whitelist)

DownThemAll! AntiContainer (does GetEmAll! support this?)
https://github.com/downthemall/anticontainer

Text Link (Allows URI texts written in webpages to be loaded by double clicks)
http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_textlink.html.en

Update Scanner (Monitors webpages for updates)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... e-scanner/

I've even forgotten this existed, never had to use it with dTA in years. Chances are you don't need it now either.

For the rest, kindly search the Pale Moon addons site first. Several FF extensions have been forked or have alternatives.
Cookie Masters does the same with letting you choose what cookies to retain, and Update Alert scans pages for changes.

caa:addon/url-lister or caa:addon/tab-lister although the way url lister lets you pick and choose which url's you copy(because its just a text wall) is fairly nice
http://rikaisama.sourceforge.net/
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rikais ... a_v22.9.3/
https://www.polarcloud.com/getrcx/
https://www.polarcloud.com/down/mdo/rik ... 210401.xpi
https://www.polarcloud.com/down/mdo/rik ... 210401.xpi
caa:addon/rikaicake-jp-en-dictionary (and if you could update its dictionary with https://kireicake.com/rikaicake-online/ it would be lovely)
and this but for palemoon and anki 2.1+ https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/2512410601
or woud it be easier to port yomichan onto palemoon?
if it is i guess its ankiconect addon for anki whould have to be tested to see if it works with the palemoon version of yomichan
some other things:
since im at it id like to say that justoff's emoji assistant emoji database is fairly outdated, and that it opens a window when doing ctrl+e(i think) that appears offscreen
i think his dismiss the overlay addon would be better if the button was on the tool menu as well(same goes for moonchild's about:config button and the emoji assistant), much like what Classic Add-ons Archive does
i found this https://github.com/seanbreckenridge/browserexport someone might have a use for it
and lastly, i think that a warning if an addon does not support the latest version on the subpages of https://addons.palemoon.org/extensions/ would be fairly useful.

Is Self-Destructing Cookies for Pale Moon 1.0.4.13 by riiis going to work in PM 29.2.0?

Ask him not us but if it worked before it should work now. There shouldn't be any technological pitfalls for extensions in last last cycle.

This is a service extension, i.e. it depends on an external service to work. Unfortunately you will have to ask the service for support in Pale Moon.

Actually, I was sort of working on forking that one a few years ago, but I got in over my head and gave up. Maybe I could give it another shot, but there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge.

If it otherwise works currently then focus on a simple rebrand and I suspect the community will help you any way it can from then on.

However, if it is busted or only partly operational then obviously it is of lower priority in favor of the low hanging fruit elsewhere.
