caa:addon/show-profile
Actually, I was sort of working on forking that one a few years ago, but I got in over my head and gave up. Maybe I could give it another shot, but there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge.
Having just heard about it and being interested in such feature I just downloaded, "hacked" the RDF and installed it. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do its job under Linux (Mint 19.2). Maybe it's only been devised to work in a Windows environment. Wonder if you can do something about that. I'll try to take a look at its code too when I get some spare time - which may not be too soon.

This is a service extension, i.e. it depends on an external service to work. Unfortunately you will have to ask the service for support in Pale Moon.

You might want to try RealityRipple's ReloadRepeat.
Thanks for your reply. Well, for my own purpose I edited install.rdf for each extension.
As said on another place in this forum it's a crrutch. But better walk with a crutch than not walk at all.

Actual Pale Moon extensions were recommended to you. Did they not serve (some of) your needs/wants?

Just not to create same-type topics, I'll write about my [non]critical FF extensions I'm using already for 6 years and would wish to be ported or fixed manually for PM 29.2.

Speed Dial: caa:addon/speed-dial
I know there are analogues on PM addon page, but this is the most functional and customizeable one.

URL Corrector: caa:addon/urlcorrector
Must-have thing for all who uses non-latin keyboards and don't want to switch it every time.

Web of Trust/WOT: caa:addon/wot-safe-browsing-tool
Version 20151208 is fastest and safest and still work on the most of sites.

Google Search Link Fix: caa:addon/google-search-link-fix
Returns normal links from search results to prevent Google's tracking.

FB2 Reader: caa:addon/fb2-reader
Cool addon for reading e-Books in the browser without downloading.

In other cases I already found native PM analogues that work fine.
If I can fix PM ID inside of install.rdf of these extensions for myself, just tell me how.

Thank you again for this. Maybe, finding some time I will try out some of these, but for now the issue is fixed (for me).

Off-topic:
This is the worst thing about AMO then and now - instead of generalizing an extension use case, they will make multiple separate extensions for each damn site. Pure URL itself is forked from the one over there - why does one need a separate extension to do the same thing for Google, then another for Yahoo and a third for Facebook? Even today you see the same thing - Firefox has integrated container support and there are still separate container extensions for Facebook etc.

Also,
FriGate 2.2.1 stopped working. And there's no Proxy alternative at Pale Moon Addon's site.

And yes. URLCorrector is very useful tool that block non-latin letters in URL bar. It would be nice if someone will fork these addons to PM.

FriGate...
Why would you trust an extension to work as a proxy? Why would a proxy need an extension?

Sigh. Use FoxyProxy Basic or Standard in conjunction with a separate proxy service instead of relying on dubious extensions.

Because it's not doing the same thing at all? At least, as far as I can tell. ;)
When you hover your mouse cursor over a Google search result, you can see it's referring to the original page (for example https://www.palemoon.org/ ), but as soon as you interact with it in any way, Google replaces the URL with something like this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... jOyUh23eWA It's very annoying when you right-click a link and copy the URL, but you're getting this long Google URL instead.
Google search link fix removes this behavior, Pure URL does not do anything about it at all, as far as I can tell. It's a completely different use case.

Add the junk parameters to Pure URL and it will filter them. It is completely configurable. This is what I meant - one extension to deal with a given problem vs multiple extensions that fix the same issue on different sites. There were and are many such on AMO, mostly just created to gain download hits (and perhaps monetized in some way).

Jetpack and the rise of the Extension as a Service model is why this started happening in late model extensions.

And got far worse after the rise of Web Extensions, since now you can write cross browser crapware and all the junk written for Chrome is instantly compatible with Firefox. I've considered learning Web Extensions if only to port some here, but the forced extension signing prevents even that unless you download some developer build.

Have you looked at the URLs I posted? The difference between https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... jOyUh23eWA and https://www.palemoon.org/ is not just the parameters, it's a completely different domain and the original URL was moved to one of those junk parameters. If it's possible to restore the original URL from that with Pure URL, then I'd be curious to see how, because it's really not obvious to me.

Ah, I see. For this, you want Redirect Bypasser 2.1.3.1 from CAA (after changing the target application ID of course). On my list of stuff to fork and submit at some point.

The trouble is with Google URL encoding their redirects, and this extension can handle those easily. It just pops up an icon over the original link that you can click.

DISCLAIMER: I don't have the technical knowledge and ability required to formally fork and maintain an extension.

The following legacy-Firefox extensions seem to work fine in Pale Moon 29.2.0 after a simple RDF compatibility hack:

The following extension hasn't worked entirely well for at least a couple/few Pale Moon point releases and probably needs a bit of substantive recoding. It still installs and "kind of works" with a simple RDF compatibility hack.
