Java error
I'm not sure if this is PM related, if not, then sorry.
I have been notified that a Java update is available but when I go to update with the updater I get an error message that I already have the latest version installed.
I have Version 7 update 21. The newest update is Version 7 update 25.

Re: Java error
That would be all Java's domain, I think. Pale Moon doesn't do anything with the update process for the plugin, it only uses the plugin that is available.
You might want to try uninstalling Java completely, then grabbing the latest installer for Java.

Re: Java error
Easiest way to get the latest Java (without the Ask toolbar) is to use the excellent ninite (dot com) installer.

Hmmm. As of this posting date/time, I'm seeing where
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
says the SE7U21 is "Up to Date."
But the official checker
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
reports the new U25 version.
The best best way to install Java is
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
where you can download the offline installer.
No muss, no fuss, no junk.
Cheers.

Don't use third-party installers, it's not needed and you don't know what all is included in third party installers, so a potential risk. if you're security-aware, you would stick to official releases only
