Auto-copy extension?

Is there an auto-copy extension for PM?

I had been using one that stopped working last update and no idea why.

I tried disabling all other updates, uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing worked. Can't figure out why it would
have just stopped w/last update, since I didn't think anything major went in(?)...

What I mean by auto copy, is I select something and it puts it in the paste buffer (until I select something else) (as well as pressing control-C). Control-C/V still work as always, but no longer the auto-copy.
Pressing the middle mouse button would paste it (as well as pressing control-V).

FWIW, I was using "autocopy2 1.2.91", which said it targeted FF and worked in compatibility mode.

I have not tried, but have a look at...

Copy On Select

(I've used both autocopy & copy on select [in SeaMonkey].)
(I use the browser copy on select along with external clipboard copy utility, CLCL.)

(AutoCopy 2 1.2.9.1 looks to work in [older] PM 26.5 [all I can test currently].)

the copy on select seems to do exactly what I want.

Just wish I knew why the old one did a belly flop

will have to explorer CLCL when I have more time!

Thanks!

When I went there and tried to install it, it said it was not compatible with Palemoon 28.3.0.

If you're feeling adventurous, I'd recommend you try out Selected Search (newest version at the bottom). It's main job is to show a pop-up with your search engines for instant searches, but it also has the auto-copy function you seek.

(I'd disable your current auto-copy extension before trying it, to avoid possible clashes since they do the same thing).
