Stylem - installing from userstyles.org

Unread post by Lew Rockwell Fan » 2019-05-13, 17:19

Installing from userstyles.org has quit working for me again. I click & nothing happens. If I remember correctly, the last time this happened was with Stylish before the fork & Stylem fixed it. Is it just me or are others having the same problem? Is everyone? I'm wondering if something has really changed or if I've forgotten some sort of tricky workaround.

It's likely the API changed again. I'll take a look at it soon.

The tricky workround is to just grab the css and paste it into a new userstyle.

Clicking the "Show CSS" button first and then clicking the "Install" button on the website works around this. Styles that have settings don't work properly though, as the placeholders are never replaced in the CSS code when installing.

Thanks. No rush. I mainly wanted to make sure I wasn't just being stupid.

Thanks. That works for me.

Try v2.2.5 which should fix this. Though customizable styles will use their default settings if you try to install those, as it would take some rewriting of the extension to get it working fully.
