How to install extensions posted to GitHub?

Unread post by Daikun » 2018-12-13, 07:42

gHacks recently wrote an article for a Firefox/Chrome extension called Buster.

Since this is a relatively new extension, there's no possible way to download this from Mozilla's add-on site, since it'll just tell you to update FF, so it seems the only option is to use GitHub.

I rarely use GitHub, like ever--I think the last time I used it was for a Greasemonkey script that stopped updating a few years ago--so I'm REALLY rusty when it comes to using the site. I'm not really sure what to do here. :? I downloaded the ZIP file. Is there something I can do to make Buster work for PM?

You can't install regardless of the place you get it from, since it's a webextension.
