Preemptively get rid of utm tracking garbage from URLs

I'm looking for something that's not au-revoir utm, since it strips the tracking after the page loads, thereby not preventing tracking. There used to be one more called Clean Links, but it doesn't work on Palemoon anymore, the button for it has disappeared.

Is there a Greasemonkey or other userscript that does the job?

Don't userscript run after the request is sent, too?
You most definitely need a dedicated extension for that.

Maybe something that runs on every page but strips out utm from links. I use the script version of FB Purity for Facebook, and it does the same for the new fbclid parameter that gets tacked onto external links.

Something like Google search link fix by Wladimir Palant? It is available in the Classic Add-ons Archive.
