Toggle Images Add-on?

Unread post by fatboy » 2018-10-18, 07:38

Good Day Community,

I was wondering if any members here are interested in an add-on that toggles images on and off? I frequently browse website where I mostly do reading with reader view and images aren't needed.
I can't develop one myself, but was wondering if someone else thinks there is a need for such an add-on?

Kind Regards,

Reader View for Pale Moon does have a button for toggling image visibility while in Reader Mode - bottom icon on the left toolbar. Added it in v1.3.0. :)

Hehe, I know! It is awesome! I was referring to when I am not using the Reader Mode add-on.

You can try this one. It says for Seamonkey and not tested in Firefox but it does work in PM. May or maynot leave a placeholder on the page. You'll have to go into customize to find the toggle button.

The extension 'Block Content' includes a setting to allow or disallow images (Permissions tab) and also a setting to block images downloading (Blocking tab).

The Web Developer extension can do that as well as a lot of other things.

You can install ImgLikeOpera from here.It has a bug with "Switch between policies on button click" setting, but it's non-critical, and you always can set it up manually using about:config (extensions.imglikeopera@imfo.ru.policy.switchModes).

Hide all Images v1.5.3 works perfectly in PM28....been using it for years
Hides all images / backgrounds / video / multimedia / flash elements on any page for increased privacy and readability.
