Toolbar Buttons 1.1.1 disappearing buttons ..
Name: Toolbar Buttons 1.1.1
Type: Extension
Issue: The extension works just fine except that occasionally, usually after an update, all of the customisations completely disappear
Cause: -
Workaround: All I can do is recustomise the toolbars from scratch
AMO: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefo ... src=search
.. the developer's website is here: https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/
Toolbar Buttons is my single most favourite extension and a primary reason for me moving to Pale Moon in the first place.

Yes .. shame.
thank you for the suggestion about loading buttons individually. i will try that next time they all disappear.
Still unsure why this has never happened on the Surface Pro, running the same version of Pale Moon. This is the first thing I have found that it does better than my desktop

Tried adding about:about individually. Neither button - from Toolbar Buttons or from the site - actually does anything at all.
Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. Comodo Internet security or Comodo Firewall + Avira Anivirus.

Well then, must be an addon interfering because I have been using theGiraffe wrote:Tried adding about:about individually. Neither button - from Toolbar Buttons or from the site - actually does anything at all.
About:about Button for many years now, and several others with no problems.
(actually don't use the button, just the drop down in tools menu, or in my case more tools menu)
You can try disabling addons a few at a time to narrow it down some.

FYI, this is the response to my query at Codefisher.org - https://codefisher.org/forum/thread/1664/2/
"Hi, best guess is it might be some code that made it possible for the extension to work in both Firefox and Pale Moon at the same time. If you try making a new version from https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/t ... ton_maker/ that has been removed and it might be more stable."

Probably is, as the button is OK in PM Portable - that has only 2 addons.billmcct wrote:Well then, must be an addon interfering because I have been using theGiraffe wrote:Tried adding about:about individually. Neither button - from Toolbar Buttons or from the site - actually does anything at all.
