Address Bar & Search Bar More Readable - Not Working in Linux

Good Day Community,

I have the Address Bar & Search Bar More Readable add-on installed on both a Windows Machine and a Linux Machine.
The add-on works fine on Windows, but I did not see any change in the URL bar text size after I installed it on my Ubuntu 16.04 and Arch systems?
Not sure if other people are experiencing the same?

What does the description of the extension "disabling URL formatting" mean? Does the address no longer look like a proper Internet address?

I checked just now and the add-on is working on my Arch install
