Firefox Infosextant addon wants different version

I'd really like to be able to install the Infosextant addon (changes wikipedia to infogalactic links).

Mozilla's addon repository wants a more current version (FF 57 or better) for their Infosextant install.

Is there a workaround for this?

Good luck, because Firefox 57, is the new Quantum, which uses WebExtensions.

As said above, Infosextant is a web extension, and will never be compatible with Pale Moon.
(You can assume this of any Firefox extension that is compatible with FF 57 or higher.)

If you really want to use it, you might see if Infosextant's author is willing to make an xul version.

Just a question...
Since you obviously dislike Wikipedia, why not just leave it alone and stick to using Infogalactic directly?

coffeebreak; I like the fact that the Infosextant addon will automatically convert a wikipedia link to an Infogalactic link at the time of clicking on the link.

Of course I have a bookmarked link to Infogalactic. But that does not convert a link on a website page...
