Question re: Adblock Latitude 5.0.0

[dataprep]

After installing Adblock Latitude 5.0.0, a null (i.e. empty) file named "dummy" is created in the adblockplus sub-directory of my Pale Moon profile. The file is created when the browser is launched. If I delete the empty file, it is recreated when the browser is launched again. What information can I provide to enable this issue to be reproduced and resolved? Below is basic information on my computer and Pale Moon setup as well as the Troubleshooting Information.
