Newsfox fetching old items.

Newsfox is the only newsreader that I've found that has a format that I like and I've been using it for several years.
It's always retrieved some old items; in some cases, e.g. New Scientist, the fault of the site as they're all marked with the same date.
Recently it's fetching articles up to a week or so old, sometimes on several consecutive days.

I've looked on the site but can't find anything useful. Is there any way of stopping this? - I would like the items to be just those since I last refreshed the list.
