Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
Reader View 2.1.1 is now up. The Pale Moon addons page and the Github repository have both been updated. Please see the release notes for details.
This is a minor release with some (very late) localization updates, and a compatibility/bug fix for PM 28.5. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the translation effort.

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
Reader View 2.2.0 is now up. The Pale Moon addons page and the Github repository have both been updated. Please see the release notes for details.
This release updates compatibility with the Readability components in the the platform. Note that this version is not backwards compatible with Pale Moon 28.5.x or older, and older releases of Reader View will not work with Pale Moon 28.6.0 or later. The minimum application version has been updated accordingly, so you should not see this update until you are on 28.6.0 or later.

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
Increasing text size using "+ -" buttons on flyout menu do not work. Worked fine on previous version.

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
I'm not seeing this issue with RV 2.2.0 and PM 28.6.0 on a clean profile.
Some tooltips did get added for the buttons on the toolbar, but this was a change in UXP and most of the language packs should have been updated by now to include them. If you hover over the + or - button, do you see a tooltip? Do you see any relevant errors in the browser console?

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
Are you using a custom theme?
Off-topic:
I encountered the same issue a while back when I updated to the latest unstable/current release.
The global style for reader view has to be updated for all custom themes due to an update to the UXP reader view components (font-size now gets changed through CSS variables).

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
Using the latest Pale Moon on Windows 10. The reader mode stopped working altogether?
The icon never appears as an option to enter reader mode on sites that generally worked

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
I can confirm that. Custom themes need to update their aboutReader.css file to match what is in toolkit. The diff is here.FranklinDM wrote: ↑2019-07-03, 09:05Are you using a custom theme?

RV 2.2.0 should have addressed this. Have you verified that you are using the latest version of the add-on?

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon
I have updated my add-ons and all is well now, thank you!
Update:
On my Linux machine I can't change the reader mode text size? I can, however, change the paragraph width? Weird
