Add on for downloading videos from Youtube Topic is solved

Hello:
Youtube changed their interface so that Download Youtube as MP4 don't works anymore with the new interface.
Is there alternative add-on for Pale Moon for downloading Youtube videos?

The official-supported Pale Moon add-on works, I just tried it.

Flash Video Downloader, which I use, also works, and it works on other sites.

Another option to get Download Youtube as MP4 working again is to update to Pale Moon 27.5.1 which supposedly changed the youtube general user agent override to use the older site design which was compatible with that extension (and others) along with site performance benefits -

It also may still be possible to opt out of the new design -

In both cases the extension now works for me.

You can also use Greasemonkey and Viewtube, or, on Linux at least, youtube-dl (which is not an addon but a command-line tool).

It seems that the old Youtube interface has been restored once I updated Pale Moon to version 27.5.1, so the Download Youtube as MP4 add-on working again.

Odd solution but it is a solution.
Don't forget that other offers are still on the table if you need something else to replace your current add-on.
As for now, please type in SOLVED, or it should be an option somewhere for you.
