When does uBlock Origin Updater actually update? I have uBlock Origin 1.16.4 installed, but the latest firefox legacy is 1.16.4.2. Why? Allow beta versions is checked.

the updater updated from 1.16.4 to 1.16.4.2 when i tested it in a new profile

You can uncheck it, since no more beta versions are expected in the xul branch.

Yes I was using 1.6.3. Anyway, it's working today (and after a reboot). But if I uncheck allow beta, the update notification for 1.16.4.2 goes away.

Any chance to add FossaMail compatibility?

I think this might be gorhill's fault.
Looks like he forgot to add the "Legacy" tag @ GitHub.

Anyway, the fix included in v1.16.4.7 doesn't work:

why not just update manually from the github site.?it takes seconds to do and i always do it like that.i see no point in using the updater as its once in a blue moon when a new legacy version comes out and the future of the legacy version is uncertain anyhow and is probably on borrowed time now.
