Session Manager appears as incompatible at the add-ons

Hello:
I've decided to move from Firefox to Pale Moon, because what Mozilla plans to do at Firefox 57 regarding to Firefox extensions.
But after moving the content of my Firefox profile to the folder of the Pale Moon profile, I've noticed that Session Manager, despite it is appears as working correctly and fully functional at my Pale Moon 27.4.1, it appearing as incompatible in the addons:

This is because the min/max compatibility range given for Firefox in the extension's install.rdf does not include 27 (it's currently min 38.0, max 54.0). It doesn't prevent Session Manager from actually working, but does make for problems with installation (though not for the way you installed) - and also causes that message.

There are a few options for dealing with this...
  • Edit the install.rdf inside your .xpi (with a zip/unzip tool) to change the version range so the minimum includes 27. There are instructions for that in this thread: How to install the latest version of Session Manager in Pale Moon 27.x
  • Reinstall from a locally saved copy of the xpi using an additional extension, the Moon Tester Tool. (Install the Tester Tool, open its options, follow prompts.) This will make some edits to Session Manager's files, so you may want to keep a backup of the original. Please read everything written on the APMO page before using the Tester Tool.
  • Use an older version of Session Manager, 0.8.1.7 which does not require editing.

The first option to edit the install.rdf inside Session Manager XPI file according to this link working correctly. Session Manager don't appears as incompatible with Pale Moon anymore. Problem solved.
