I think the only change was it was made MPL instead of merely freeware. One of these years I am gonna make a whole new thing that will effectively succeed Pale Moon Commander.

The only difference between 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 is indeed licensing.
Instead of copyrighted freeware, it is now FOSS.

v2.0.2 has been released to make display strings more consistent. in the menu. No code changes otherwise.

Can we imagine something "one of these months", please ?
PM Commander is a "must have" but with PM v28 it needs to be updated.
Preference "require per site approval for full screen" doesn't work now (code has been probably removed)
I would like to see the preferences "accessibility.blockautorefresh", "canvas poisondata" etc.. (even if i can use "about:config")

Pale Moon 28 is not released yet. So please hold your horses on wanting PMC to be rewritten for it.

btw; PMC's manual hasn't even been updated for Tycho yet.

Don't sweat it.
We all understand that other things take priority.
Can't wait for Pale Moon UXP to reach stable..
It looks very promising! :)

I don't want, i wish.
No problem, i can wait or use "about:config".

(PM 28 will be released, (no doubt about that), so rewritting PMC would be nice. :D )

Will pmc be compatible with basilisk someday or will be pale moon only?

It's called "Pale Moon Commander". Which application do you think it targets? ;-)

Also, to keep people in the loop, I am working on updating it for v28 but it's a slow process.

Pale Moon Commander v3.0.0 has been released!

This update brings it up to speed with Pale Moon v28+, updating the preferences it controls to align with UXP.
This version requires Pale Moon v28.4 as a minimum (if you haven't updated the browser yet, please do so).
  • Obsolete preferences removed
  • A handful of new preferences added:
    • New WebGL preferences
    • Network predictor preferences
    • WASM preferences
    • New cipher suites for TLS 1.3
Bug reports and requests for enhancement: please use the GitHub issue tracker.

FYI, from about:addons, there's no way to directly see the changes to Pale Moon Commander. The link goes to:
http://www.palemoon.org/commander.shtml
On that page, there's only a link to an old locked forum post, an addons.palemoon.org page that's been removed, and to Softpedia page which still has the version as 2.0.0 in the changelog. No link to this post.

Hope that helps.

Hmm yes it does seem to have been pointing to old URLs. I've updated the page.

I've been able to reproduce after a few tries. This is not a bug in the extension but rather a crash from the rework done in the javascript engine that landed in that unstable.
Thanks for reporting. We'll investigate. Issue #1195 (UXP)
