In response to my recent support request regarding the icon show/hide problem, I received this response from the developer. Thought is might interest others.
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, we are no longer updating the current version of CYS. We are rewriting the code from scratch, not just for WebExtensions but for Pale Moon as well. A new and improved version should be available in a couple of months.
This confirms what has already been said, only in present time.
