Thanks a lot GMforker, everything seems just fine with the new version. Uninstalled the previous one first, as indicated.

Thanks for the latest release of Greasemonkey! :thumbup:

Especially necessary since neither Tampermonkey nor Violentmonkey work in PM! And two websites I visit frequently depend on userscripts to work properly.

Anyone can confirm whether or not Greasemonkey 4.0 (WX) is compatible to Firefox lower than version 57?

Never mind. Found the answer. So long as the extension is marked as compatible with v57 and above, the installation will fail.
