Previous to the latest Pale Moon update, when I tried to get the Honey extension from https://www.joinhoney.com/, it said that it wasn't compatible with this version of firefox. Now, with 27.0.3 (x86), it says that add-on downloaded from www.joinhoney.com could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.
Can someone figure out what's going on between Pale Moon and Honey?

Re: Honey still doesn't work
They seem to want to only deliver a Google Chrome (WebExtension) type extension, no matter what browser I'm using. Pale Moon does not support this type of extension and there are no plans to do so in the future; so for the foreseeable future, this is extension is not going to be compatible with Pale Moon.

They specify on their site in multiple places that they work on Firefox.
In fact, I found this link in their help page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search
I checked the Version info and it says that it's for Firefox 48.0+. Is Pale Moon 27.0.3 equivalent? The page says that the addon isn't for version 27.9. I tried changing the version number in about:config (I remember seeing that as a solution for a versioning issue before), but when I said that I had version 48.0, I got the corrupt message again.

Firefox 48+ supports WebExtesion type add-ons. As Andrew points out, Pale Moon does not. Thus Honey will not work with Pale Moon.Andrew Gilbertson wrote:They seem to want to only deliver a Google Chrome (WebExtension) type extension, no matter what browser I'm using.
