No, I'm using the latest version of YT+ (1.7.5) with PM 27.0.3 and I haven't encountered any issues. I did however encounter a similar error with YT+ under Chromium with Tampermonkey where the settings disappeared, however the Youtube site also looked different than it did before in the same browser, so I think Youtube is slowly rolling out changes which breaks the script. The YT+ dev is usually quick to update the script so by the time more people get the new Youtube layout there will be a new update to the script.

Edit: I just noticed there was an option to revert back to the classic layout. When I reverted the YT+ script worked again.

Classic layout is definitely better. New layout is dumb. No like meter, infinitely scrolling comments, muted text colors, description panel not as intuitive, I could go on...

Hrm. The youtube+ script was deleted from greasefork for unspecified reasons. I found another copy of it, but I wonder if it's safe to use.

Don't know where you found your copy (and don't use this script), but it can be downloaded from the author's Github account, which should be safe if anywhere is:
https://github.com/ParticleCore/Particle/tree/master/src/Userscript.

This issue/comment by the developer might shed light on why it was removed from Greasyfork (assuming it was the author who took it down): YouTube Plus might end with the upcoming YouTube Material Layout #448

This link (which you can get from coffeebreak's link), explains it.

Basically a user threw a temper tantrum and threatened a vote trashing so he pulled it. Sadly, it appears to be a Pale Moon user. One user ruined it for everybody.
