Halloween Theme Outdated

Post by iron_fist351 » 2025-11-07, 04:16

I recently installed Pale Moon and wanted to try out the Halloween theme. However, it only supports up to Pale Moon version 31 (whereas the latest version is 32.x). Would someone on this forum with a more established account be able to send a message to Goodydino, the theme's developer about this? My account is too new to do so or even to open user profiles at all.

Would you be able to reach out to @Goodydino for me and ask if they'd be able to tupdate their theme to support the latest Pale Moon version? I'd do so myself if I had a more established account.

Goodydino is on this forum. You can always shoot them a private message if they don't see this thread.

OP knows Goodydino is here, however OP is a new user (i.e. less than 3 posts submitted) which can't view other users' profiles or send them a PM, that's why they're asking here publicly.

Anyway I've sent a DM to Goodydino just in case others haven't done it yet.

I need coffee.

EDIT: Updated OP's profile to be a full member ahead of time.

I tried to send the current version that I am using (I guess I updated it for me only locally), but the Phoebus site would not accept it. Is there something special I need to do to get it to upload?

Is there a special procedure for updating an add-on as opposed to sending a totally new one? The Phoebus site does not seem to give me many choices; it just says it is unable to comply because the add-on or slug is not available. Maybe there is a special directory where I need the file to be to upload it? Is Phoebus picky about filenames? Maybe everything in the filename has to be lower case? I tried modifying the name of the slug, but that did not help. So far, I have tried using five different browsers, but that is no help either. If uploading does not work, there should be some kind of help available. Do I need to re-verify my account with Phoebus? If so, what is my verification code? I do not seem to have that saved anywhere.

It should be as simple as going to "your add-ons" and then clicking the green puzzle piece with plus icon to release an updated version.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I see. I did not realize that the green symbol was also a link. I tried clicking on the pencil and on the link above that line.
