Smart preview broken with 33.8.1.2

Post by moonbat » 2025-08-06, 00:56

Been using JustOff's Smart preview for PM forum for years now, it works on the Pale Moon forum and lets you view a post directly in a popup iframe. Since updating to this version, the iframe just shows 'loading' and stays stuck. There's nothing in the error console either.

Took a look at the code but it uses jquery and other stuff I have no experience of so I hope someone can fix this.

Does the browser console show any relevant errors?

Smart preview for PM forum
It seems this addon requires SDK. Is SDK still supported?

Installed it, working fine (without having logged in).

It doesn't work for me at all, like it's not installed. Or I just don't know how to use it...

Edit:
Oh, yeah, it works in search results. It works fine, no problems.

Turns out it was a uBO filter, now I have to narrow down to which one. Funny because I've never had to turn off uBO for the forum and there's nothing to block anyway.
