JuBlock (in honor of JustOff's contribution)
If we're going to reference JustOff why not "JustBlock"?

That's fine too. Let the author pick what he likes. (I've had some good laughs thinking of various variations.)

Yes, this is quite fitting. Still hoping he'll re-emerge after a hostage-exchange or similar. Seems unlikely by now, but you never know.

I like it

For those "in the know" it's a nod towards JustOff's efforts.
For those not in the know it makes sense to be something to "just block" the annoying stuff.

Since JustOff started UBO for Pale Moon, I think naming it "JustBlock" is appropriate for the effort he put into it to give us Pale Moon users a very good adblocker. His UBO 1.16.4.30 version is the one I have used for many years.

Why would you have to rename a fork at all? Just curious.

Primarily to avoid confusion, and to be clear that what you're publishing isn't the same as what you forked off from.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I use a few of JustOff's add-ons, even so that's not why I like "JustBlock" as a name but because it's descriptive and easy to say.
But given the history (I have read the old topics) the suggestion does surprise me!

After witch hunt homage to the witch.
Funny or not but no reason to be surprised ...

The "history" and "witch hunt" are unimportant and unrelated here. He did provide significant support and resources to all of us (uBO-related and much more), and he most probably died in the war. There's nothing funny here.

That would certainly be a shit-ton better than the postulated alternative. Thanks very much for your work with this important extension. I will be switching over shortly.

Regarding the name, at this point, it's not particularly unique, it's just a lesser version of uBO. JustBlock sounds fine to me though.

Don't know WHERE to stick this, so I'll stick it here. I was under the impression that
>UBO now updates itself on PM
>it is becoming increasingly outdated as it didn't update for a long time
Both were untrue, since the auto update broke a while ago. AND the extension updated last year and this year too. So manually re-downloaded it, and that updated everything.
