A warning would be nice ?
Upgraded to the latest 29.2 and found all my passwords gone and one of my add-ons disabled.
I made a backup so I just jumped back.

You need to check if a PM compatible addon exists.
Maybe you need to fork it.

@ JXL2112
There was a warning and it was posted on April 22nd. You did not read the warning.

Re: A warning would be nice ?
There were warnings about the temporary nature of it much earlier than that too. The warnings inside the add-on manager in november, the clear statement about using Firefox extensions that I posted the January before, etc.

Isn't there also the setting "Warn when this update disables addons" in PM (except for the DEB packages) enabled by default?

I'm sorry, I was really talking about the update deleting all my user ID's and Passwords. Is that a bug or some kind of change over?
Is there anyway to get all the PASSWORDS imported into the newer version?
The add-on is small potatoes but it does break my work flow.

Re: A warning would be nice ?
Which version were you using before updating?
Re: A warning would be nice ?
They fucked up and made a huge version jump i bet. See DPMO on Profile Migration. Also, this shit WAS mentioned in release notes as well.
Re: A warning would be nice ?
I was using 29.1.0....thought 29.2.0 would be minor bug fix. I usually just upgrade from inside Pale Moon and it's mostly no drama.
Still not sure why my passwords were all deleted?
BTW: The warning notice would right before you run the update.

Re: A warning would be nice ?
I dunno how you screwed up your password store.
Re: A warning would be nice ?
See "What is Pale Moon's versioning scheme like?" FAQ (posted 2014)
No idea either because there were no changes to the password manager between those versions -- UNLESS of course you trusted your password handling to an extension and it stored things in a non-standard way and as a result you lost access to them.
