Ublock Origin legacy has a rectangular button

For a while, my ublock icon was fine, but sometime recently it's become un-symmetrical again, for example:
note: It was less rectangly and more square before, though, I can't get it to go back.

When I install current uBO to Pale Moon 28.12 with a fresh, new profile, the icon looks exactly like the one in your screenshot, namely "rectangly". (Win7 x86)

Could the previous, "more square" shape be related to your theme?
Have you shifted things on your toolbars, added/removed/moved anything?

coffeebreak, you know - I must have moved some things around at one point which made it more square, I just can't remember what was changed to cause that :/

uBO 1.16.4.26b1 does have a square (versus rectangular) button.

Does the shape of the icon affect the softwares usage or something.?.Seems petty complaining about the geometry of the icon.

Perception is reality. I can see somebody installing this for the first time, and seeing a rectangular button with the icon not being centered, saying, "If they can't get this right, how do I know what else with the extension is wonky?" Whether that's fair or not, that's the way it is.

You know, I agree with that in the abstract.
And it's one of the reasons to fix such things when they're found.

But in this particular thread, those who complained about the button actually seem to have used the extension for a while.
They are just people who have a strong reaction to (what I consider) extremely minor visual stuff.
