Fox 2 the Moon / Moonfox3 and background colors

I originally posted about this here. I use the Fox 2 the Moon theme and just noticed today that when I change browser.display.standalone_images.background_color (in about:config) from the default to something else, it doesn't work with this theme. However, I decided to test this with Moonfox 3 (since I used to use that theme), and the change works with this theme. Is it possible to make this work in Fox 2 the Moon also? Thanks.
