One more thing.

I think the text "Phrase not found" should be lightened a bit because I think it is barely visible.
Maybe with grey color.

Or, is there a Pale Moon(-compatible) extension which enables the user to customize the colors in a theme?

What's new?
- use correct checkboxes on about:sessionrestore
- add KUI close button
- add about:home styling for Home Styler
- fix download indicator styling
- darken category icons in about:addons created by extensions
- style radio panes globally as in Preferences window
- add smaller toolbar image for extension compatibility
- sync devtools styling with default-27.4.0
- use smaller image document favicon
- cleanup download status indicator styling
- remove Social API components
Hi, Lootyhoof. I'm using Darkness 1.7.0 right now and after I press "+" button, the old new tab page with greyish background and "Pale Moon" logo (i.e. "about:logopage") won't show up.

Is it because of Home Styler styling?

I found that answer. I changed the new tab page preference to Quickdial page.

Sorry, I posted it without further reflection.

About Fox 2 The Moon theme, there is actually no private browsing mask in the menubar when using a private browsing window. I would like to know if you're agree to add one.

Yes, I intend to add one. A slight mistake on my part for not including it.

Looking into this further I can't confirm this issue.

Image

Is this still happening, and if so have you tried disabling extensions to see if any were causing this?

My guess is that.... it must be JustOff's Advanced Night Mode. ;)

Fox 2 The Moon has been updated to v4.0.0! In this release, we modernise a lot of the stylings used in the theme so that they're not quite as old as the theme they're trying to emulate. ;)

Most of the changes are behind-the-scenes, though some eagle-eyed users may notice that the toolbar button styling is slightly different: toolbar buttons don't use the (in my opinion, pointless) grey border when hovering now, and rely on the highlights of the icons themselves. To help this work with icons other than those provide by the theme, even extension icons are styled, so it's easier to know when you're hovering or clicking an icon, or if it's disabled. :)

I've mentioned this before with other themes, but now featuring in Fox 2 The Moon are CSS variables, which (especially in this theme) can easily change how the UI is styled. For example...

Enjoy! :)

What's new?
- refactor toolbarbutton stylings with modern CSS
- compact toolbar icons
- modernise platform stylings for Windows and Linux
- add private browsing indicator in menubar
- fix hover state of alltabs button in tab bar
- add CSS variables for increased customisation
- add about:home styling for Home Styler
- add more Firefox 2-like global icons
- sync devtools styling with default
- PM27.5: draw a background on the window area in Windows 10
- major cleanup of redundant files

Thanks for porting these. However using Aeromoon some favicons, e.g. on palemoon.org, are not dispplayed, while others, e.g. on wikipedia.org are.

Can't confirm this.

What OS and Pale Moon version are you using? Have you tried with other extensions disabled?

Can you show me a screenshot?

My bad, it doesnt seem to be the theme since disabling it didnt fix it, the two merely correlate. New profile works but I would rather have broken favicons tbh.

It's likely to be an extension doing this. You'll need to, one by one, disable extensions to see what's causing this.

Just a guess,
see if in your adblocker (if you use one), you have ''Fanboy's enhanced tracking list'', enabled. If you do, then that is the cause of the problem.

- redesign downloads panel

Thanks, but I had figured it out ^^

When using Aeromoon the page info tabs are not separated from their content and there is no indication of what tab you are on. Could the page info window simply remain unchanged?

I've always noticed this small nuance myself. Moonfox3 is the same (last i checked), and I'm guessing that's what this theme is based on. The icons also match that of Moonfox3, which are subtly different from Aeromoon. Since it's been brought up, I feel compelled to point out another small detail; The bookmarks sidebar in Firefox 3.x (Vista/7) was stylized roughly the same as the Kempelton. The Aeromoon theme has a more XP-ish aesthetic in comparison.

Thanks for these details. I'll be working on these soon (I started work on Phoenity Rebirth recently, so that takes precedence since it's already a WIP), though since it's closely related to both Aeromoon and Moonfox3 there will be improvements across the board in due time.

Compact Moon Options has been updated to v1.1.1. This is a quick hotfix release to fix the Swedish (sv-SE) locale.

Fox 2 The Moon has been updated to v4.0.2. This brings us up to standard with the changes made recently in my work for Phoenity Rebirth.

What's new?
- cleanup Windows styling
- (re-)add basic OS X styling
