Updated Halloween theme
I have just updated the Halloween theme for Pale Moon v. 28. I have tried to fix all the colours that were not correct. If I missed something, please complain about it.

Re: Updated Halloween theme
The icons in the history drop-down seems to be a bit inconsistent.
I've updated the Complete Theme Changes page for more info on the changes that were made for Pale Moon 28.

Re: Updated Halloween theme
I think I have now covered everything on that developer page for PM 28. There are still a few things I do not understand. Before I send in the updated version, I would like answers to those things.
What controls the colours in about:telemetry? It is unthemed. Changing the colours in global/in-content/common.css had no effect on that. I think I finally managed to correct the colours in that stylesheet.
What puts the shield image in the addressbar for broken encryption?
What do you mean by, "The icons in the history drop-down seem to be a bit inconsistent."? For me, they are all the same, since I block favicons.

In the default theme, #mixed-content-blocked-notification-icon is styled by browser.css and uses mixed-content-blocked-16.png for its list-style-image.Goodydino wrote: What puts the shield image in the addressbar for broken encryption?

I wouldn't worry about styling about:telemetry -- it will be removed soon.

Thanks for the info about the mixed content shield.SpockFan02 wrote:Try /global/aboutTelemetry.cssGoodydino wrote:...

The only place I could find aboutTelemetry.css was in the Pale Moon application package, so I extracted a copy and tried editing it and adding it to global, browser and mozapps and it does no good. I see now why nobody bothered to put that into a theme.

What do you mean by "a bit inconsistent"? In what way? Do you mean that the "Show all history" icon is missing? I have now added it.FranklinDM wrote:The icons in the history drop-down seems to be a bit inconsistent.

It looks like this in my setup.

Re: Updated Halloween theme
You need to copy autocomplete.css to /browser, and in that copy, change all the .autocomplete-* to .private-autocomplete-* selectors instead.
Or, include it in the one in /global, and add this to chrome.manifest:
See here, for example.

Code: Select all
override chrome://browser/skin/autocomplete.css chrome://global/skin/autocomplete.css

Why? In Aeromoon 2.3.0, autocomplete.css is only in global. What is the big deal?

Re: Updated Halloween theme
Have you looked at that file recently though? Or chrome.manifest? Compare it to yours, especially the parts starting with .private-*.

Re: Updated Halloween theme
I have made a copy of autocomplete.css, revised it, and put it into browser. The theme is now sent in.

Halloween theme update
Had to add a minor fix to the audio icon on tabs to make it visible.
