Help making a theme... Work

Unread post by SpockFan02 » 2017-12-11, 06:04

Hello.

I'm trying to follow Lootyhoof's How to: Create a Complete Theme guide. I am on a Mac, complicating the process a little, but I found both omni.jas and extracted what I believed to be the correct folders, and created a chrome.manifest and install.rdf. I was able to zip it into a .xpi and install it, but after restarting to apply it, nothing changed. I added a few rules to the bottom of browser.css, but nothing made any changes to the default theme. I had copy-pasted the same rules into my userChrome.css file, where they worked, so it's not a problem with the CSS. I would appreciate if anyone could suggest what I might be doing wrong and how to remedy it. Here is what I have: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vWvgpoEhqgTa_vtAtfcq3nNUMmJrbP9P/view?usp=sharing

Your chrome.manifest file has a .txt extension. Please remove it and try again. :)
