Thank you for the report. Will release an updated XPI soon. The one I used to package the XPIs used an unusual compression method.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the earlier update, the fixed XPI is now up as v1.3.0.1.

v1.3.0 has been pulled out to prevent others from updating to this version erroneously.

You can update the theme via:
Downloading the XPI or by checking for updates in the Add-ons Manager.

I tested this again with a clean profile and another used profile (both from v1.3.0) and I was able to update. I suggest that you try uninstalling the theme first then download the theme manually either from Pale Moon's add-on site or via GitHub.

Was the color change of the navigation bar intended? It went from a blue, FF4-like gradient to a whiter one.

Also, this little bug with the List All Tabs arrow persists: Image

Sorry, that was something I overlooked while deleting parts of the code.

Thank you for reporting this - I didn't notice it because I always use the graphical tab list.

These issues will be fixed in the next release.

Thank you, looks really nice. Only problem I'm seeing is with "Use Small Icons" - most icons actually become larger.

The link text in the address bar is not visible. Especially bad for those who are poor at distinguishing color shades.
System: Windows 10 20H2, Pale Moon 29

It is also advisable to make the font of the text of the active bookmark bold, since the color of the active tab is almost the same as the color of the inactive one, this is very bad for people who do not distinguish color shades or on laptops with poor screen matrices.

Confirmed. This will be fixed in the next release, thanks for reporting!

I'm not willing to change this since it would deviate from the style of the original Strata theme. Instead, you might want to place something similar to the following in your userChrome.css or by creating a new user style with Stylem:

Code: Select all

.tabbrowser-tab[selected="true"] {
  font-weight: bold;
}

If silver-grey looks (almost) the same as white to you, then you really need to fix your screen settings (most likely your contrast is set WAY too high). They are absolutely easy to distinguish on my screen.

I understand you, just a mini PC is connected to a TV with an IPS matrix, and it does not transmit halftones well.

IPS is actually very good at colour reproduction so that is really surprising. My monitor is IPS as well.
Either way, It shouldn't be a theme's responsibility to account for non-standard setups that skew contrast beyond reason, so yeah, a local adjustment is the best solution for your case.

This IPS is not a monitor, but a TV, there is always a matrix was worse than any monitor.
VA matrices have the widest color coverage, so I can see the difference on it.

On the topic of PM Stratum, I understand you, let it be the same.
