Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
Ok so after checking Pale Moon 25.0.1, apparently Self-Destructing Cookies, Speed DNS and IE Tab 2 are now working properly.
Thought it's best to report that so that people will know that they're fixed now.

The stylish author has added support for Pale MoonMatt A Tobin wrote:the "-ish" addons are gonna HAVE to be [dealt] with by the developer or if someone wants to step up here and deal with them.. It isn't as simple as others..
I haven't got a response from the Scriptish author though... but GUID substitution across all the files containing the FF GUID does work.

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
I have started using Stylish 1.5.0a1 and it doesn't have double entry problem. Are you sure that your profile isn't corrupted or that you are not using any conflicting add-ons? Corrupted profile can cause all kind of strange problems.ckit_x64 wrote:Wonderful but Stylish 1.5.0a1 still has a double entry in the Add-ons manager.access2godzilla wrote:The stylish author has added support for Pale MoonMatt A Tobin wrote:the "-ish" addons are gonna HAVE to be [dealt] with by the developer or if someone wants to step up here and deal with them.. Name: Personas Rotator
Type: Extension
Issue: The save function in the option menu doesn't work (the other option menu in the add-ons manager does work). Rotate next from the Personas Plus menu doesn't work, but if you use the toolbar icon it thinks Personas Plus isn't installed (due to the different extension ID probably). Auto-rotation also seems to not work.
Cause: unknown/multiple
Workaround: none that are give the same automatically functionality

Nope, just created another profile (called it Test.. LOL) and added just the new Stylish 1.5.0a1 extension and still got double entry.win7-7 wrote:I have started using Stylish 1.5.0a1 and it doesn't have double entry problem. At a guess, this is a 32-bit extension not working very well on a 64-bit browser.

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
Well that was pointless of the author.. If he isn't going to fix all the issues then this leaves Stylish in the exact same condition it was before as we allow all Firefox add-ons to pass the install check. Let us hope he will actually correct the issue then now that he has added support in install.rdf.

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
I don't think that is problem. I have no problem with version 1.5.0a1 in either AVX x64 or regular x64 Pale Moon. Also are you using some language pack?ckit_x64 wrote:Nope, just created another profile (called it Test.. Could you try following .xpi file and tell if it works.
(Please do not upload XPI files to the forum if you want to extange them use PM so that users don't blindly download unapproved and unauthorized edits -Tobin)

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
Tobin,
Win7-7 and myself both have working Stylish 1.5.0a1 XPI's now, appears to be working 100% but I'll need a day or two just to be safe.
The double entry issue is gone with the XPI, Win7-7 provided me, the one I created was a Fail.

Self_Destructing_Cookies-0.4.6 Will not reinstall without modifying Install.rdf - Changed Firefox to Pale Moon, Changed GUID and changed min version from 26 to 24 - Now installs and works as expected.
Noticed that the 0.4.7 beta is an Australis Native Widget - perhaps this makes 0.4.6 a candidate for Pseudo Static

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
They are targeting only the most recent versions of firefox and Firefox 24.9 is only what Pale Moon reports to AMO as its compatibility for installation. I have put in a request to them because this add-on is too complex to psudeo-staticize without going back to an older version. if there is no response I will psuedo-static the last compat version.Mark_Lee wrote:Name: FireFTP

Re: Compatibility Reports for v25
Name: Self-Destructing Cookies 0.4.6
Type: Extension
Issue: Does NOT install in PM 25.0.1 (Win7 x64)
Cause: Apparent version number mismatch, also GUID mismatch
Workaround: Install SDC 0.4.4, but does not upgrade to 0.4.6 within PM 25.0.1
AMO: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... g-cookies/
This is because there have been conflicting reports about whether or not SDC will work with 35.0.1 with some people being able to install it, others not. In my case I am stuck with an older version until either the SDC developer fixes the issue or Pale Moon provides a way for the add-on to get upgraded.
