I can't believe no has mentioned these 2 MAJOR MAJOR addons which no longer show up in the addon bar nor have ANY effect even though they displaying in the Addon manager as enabled:

Because they are already known and on the add-ons site as known to have issues.

Not true for ABP. Yes the icon doesn't show up, but it does work. Go to Tools >> Add-ons to get to ABP options, then make sure you have a filter list downloaded. I had to download the list manually on both my computer and my wife's after upgrading to PM 25.

NOTE: I use Ad-block Edge, but the above should work since ABE is a "true" fork of ABP.

Workaround: If you choose the option "clear all layouts" the active tab becomes visible but it still doesn't seem to recognize when a different tab is selected.

I sent an email to the developer for this extension to notify him that it does not work in PM v25.

Update 10/13/14: Here is the response I got from the developer of Tile Tabs and Tile View:

The problem is that Pale Moon does not use F12 as an alternative shortcut for Web Developer Tools.

Please find attached versions of Tile Tabs and Tile View that workaround this problem.

However, I have noticed other problems, for example, the drag-and-drop tiling does not work in either add-on.

I’m sorry, but I don’t have the time to investigate and fix these problems – my development efforts are focussed on migrating all of my add-ons to Firefox e10s and supporting my add-ons for mainstream Firefox users.

I tried the versions he sent me and can confirm that they work (with the exception of the remaining problems he mentions above).

The add-on's last update was nearly a year ago, so it may be abandoned. If it does get an update, it will likely be Australis only.

Screengrab is an essential tool in my kit that I've used with FF for years. When I upgraded to Pale Moon 25 the tool bar icon disappeared and the extensions manage continued to list it as active. I looked in various menus and it wasn't there nor was it perchance on the bottom status bar. It was gone. Too bad as I use it throughout the day and unless I find an equivalent that works (capture selection, current web screen, entire web page) I will have to pass on Pale Moon, the extension is that important to my work. I will try removing it from the extensions/add-ons and reinstalling to see if that will work.
