mikeysc wrote:Yea, it's also completely unnecessary for everyone to put the time in do that. As long as people post one entry per line, simply copy and paste all the entries in one file, then sort, then delete duplicates.
I was hoping to be able to reduce my workload because of dups as I have many other tasks to accomplish as well. While I have removed that little point now and is no longer enforced. Please try and follow the example I posted with the

Code: Select all

Type of Addon: Addon Name
AMO: http://link
format please.

Also you don't have to do this if you don't want to. I want to get a good inital idea of what people are running so that they can be checked with v25 as well as be listed on the future addons site in a "Known Working" page and be able to contact the developers for those that break on v25 so that they can be repaired or if needed .. forked for Pale Moon by the Addon Site personnel (likely me)

Your initiative, Matt, is most valuable. And will require indeed a lot of work. I think we all, techies or less (or not : :) ) who like, really like Pale Moon, the browser and the approach linked to it, will do our best to get Pale Moon 25 on the rails when the locomotive is that of Moonchild and the railroad partly of users like you who really get things goin'.

On board for PM25, our next big expectation in the world of computing!

Dang, I wish I'd realized that is wasn't feasible before it did it!. I just created my list in Notepad++ then used the forums Search this topic... feature (I used "quotes" around multiple word titles like "Tab Mix Plus") to look for dupes. The whole thing took about 10 minutes.

That demonstrates that it is feasible. But tough. And your time and effort has dealt with not so many lists, and your list itself is not that thick, which is the main handicap when checking for dupes. Imagine the same commitment within a month and pages of lists, and one's list like mine, with 90+ extensions ...
But you did it, I have to admit it :) Even if you had missed Tab Mix Plus!

Just to be clear, I have 30+ extensions, the 16 or so in my list are the ones that I didn't see already listed (plus a some that were already listed but without URLs). Yes, if you have a list of 90+ extensions it would be a daunting task. Having said ALL that... A maintained master list would be great, just not sure that anyone would want to shoulder that burden.

You've got a point there : the list of yours I've seen was not meant to be your original list, but the list once cleaned from dupes.
A master list would be pertinent, continuously rebuilt with new ones. That would make it (easily!) feasible for newcomers to filter their own list from that central list. Looks like a good (first) approach to me.

EDIT : I'll try to find the time (I'll find it, but when?!) to add the urls to my list. I started but 90+ discouraged me after 10 minutes. But I'll do it.
EDIT2 - DONE. Reminded me homework in the good old times!

These work well in PM 24.7.1

Add to Search Bar 2.0
Biscuit 2.4.2
Bookmark Current Tab Set 0.2.4
Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner 0.2
Bookmarks Checker 3.1.1
Cookies Manager+ 1.5.2
DoNotTrackPlus 2.2.1.829 NOTE I was not able to get the newest version to work with PM 24.7.1 (DoNotTrackMe v3.2.1127)
It would not install the icon on the toolbar and had to revert to DoNotTrackPlus 2.2.1.829
ExportHTMLFolder 0.3
FavIconReloader 0.8
Google Shortcuts 2.1.8.2
Google Translator for Firefox 2.1.0.3m
InfoLister 0.10.4a3
KillJasmin 2.4
LiveClick 1.0.0
Memory Fox 7.4
More Tools Menu 1.2.4
Organize Search Engines 1.7
Pale Moon Commander 1.3.6
Restart Button 0.1
SavedSearchButton 1.3
Sidebar Bookmarks Search Plus 2.0.1
SQLite Manager 0.8.1
Stratiform 3.0.1
Tab Utilities 1.5.28.1
Undo Bookmarks Menu 1.7
User Agent Switcher 0.7.3
WOT 20131118

Hope they will work in PM 25

I have edited my post. I changed "Copy All Links" for "Copy Links" which for my part do a better job without headache infact, no need to sort links i need.
I had chosen "Copy All Links" because it is recent contrary to "Copy Links" which is an abandonware, but hey.
