Archive of add-ons compatible with Palemoon 26.5.0?

Excuse me if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find anything obvious in a search.

Is there an archive anywhere of the Palemoon add-ons (and links to compatible Firefox add-ons) as they were before Palemoon 27?

I have a machine which for a variety of reasons needs to continue to support Windows XP, so I'm trying to update to the latest compatible version of Palemoon, 26.5.0 (version 24.7.2 which accepted most Firefox add-ons is getting much too old). When I go to the main add-ons page I find a lot of current versions which will only work with Palemoon 27.

Obviously I'll go to Palemoon 27 and a later version of Windows wherever possible, but in the meantime is there anywhere I can download add-ons as they were in the days of 26.5.0?

Or try Feodors "mod of Pale moon browser for winxp": https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal/releases

For Pale Moon, there is an (oldish) ftp archive - And APMO has recently started listing prior versions.
They're on the right side of the page for each extension, under the heading "Previous Releases".

For Firefox add-ons, check the "Version History" page for each extension, just add /versions/ to its url.
Just as an example, for Classic Toolbar Buttons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cstbb/versions/

Thanks, I didn't know about that. Unfortunately there only seems to be a Windows Installer version and I'm using Palemoon Portable (installing 6 times on 3 machines each dual-booting XP and Win7 seems like far too much work to do).

Is there a procedure available to extract the relevant parts from an installer and graft them into an existing portable version?

Thanks, there might be some useful ones there, but unfortunately none of the particular ones I'm looking for.

I was hoping there might be a complete snapshot somewhere of all of the add-ons before the jump from PM 26 to 27.

I see some of them have old versions listed, but sadly not on any I've found so far that I want to use.

I don't know how it would be done, but you might shoot the question to people participating in this thread that's focussed on building 27 for XP.

There is also roytams XP build, it comes in zipped form:
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/177125- ... nt=1146034

He also made a portable loader, which works on any Pale Moon:
https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=17035

Or just try this:
newmoon-roytam-portable-xp32-20171006-fc3f4bdc7.rar
36.75MB https://www.sendspace.com/file/z54hl0

But that's not official, or even unofficial, just something i made for personal use.
It uses the same portable launcher as the regular portable build.

Thanks, maybe I'll try those, though I think I've found a way to make Feodor's version portable:

1) Install Palemoon 27.5.1 into a directory (but don't try to run it).
2) Start 7-Zip, navigate to Feodor's installer, and open it as an archive.
3) Go to the "core" directory and select all files (but not sub-directories).
4) Extract all of these files into the Bin\Palemoon sub-directory of wherever you installed 27.5.1
(Where it prompts to overwrite existing files, click "yes to all")

Run Palemoon-Portable.exe. It seems to work well (I'm using it to type this now), though it's a bit early to be sure there won't be complications.

So far I have installed ABPrime and FEBE, then used FEBE to restore bookmarks, passwords, cookies and search plugins from the old 24.7.2 backup, and all seems fine so far.

FEBE goes into a 100% CPU loop trying to restore browser history, but maybe I just need to let it run for a long while.

Excellent -- that means I might be on the right track!

And so far it seems to work well. No implied criticism of the main development team, but how come the official announcement says it's impractical to graft PM 27 features onto the XP API, yet here it seems people are doing exactly that?

i have been using pm26.5 as portable on flash drive and it works great. fast and never a problem. plus i have addons for downloading and they work great as well. have tried the newer ones and nothing works nearly as well. as portable i run sandboxed and have never had a hint of problem... on two computers.
