Updating FEBE

Unread post by AndTheWolf » 2017-10-17, 18:51

I tried several times today to update FEBE Version 8.3.1-signed to FEBE 10.0 using Add-ons Manager, and each time failed with "There was an error downloading FEBE. Try again" I finally just downloaded FEBE10.0.xpi from https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/febe/ and installed it manually. Any idea why Add-ons Manager could not download it?

I can verify this.
I currently have FEBE 8.3.1 installed, and I get an update notification in the Add-ons Manager:

But when I click on "Update Now", I get an error message that gives little clue as to what went wrong:

Clicking "Try Again" doesn't help.

Something is wrong with FEBE package on Pale Moon Add-ons Site:

Code: Select all

addons.xpi	WARN	Download of http://addons.palemoon.org/?component=download&version=latest&id={4BBDD651-70CF-4821-84F8-2B918CF89CA3} failed: Downloaded file hash (7114b7a60f43f8899fb9a8fa14138e3f2cb29e76bc4436ecd4d141892986386f) did not match provided hash (a9d7b458d8a96f0040cb176e0a2d4d1948e188cd066f19c31a2c366ce2019a63)
I think admins will fix this when they see this topic.
