There have been various reports of issues with Flash Player v23 and Palemoon - I don't have your issue but do have an issue with my newspaper crossword site. Others have reported black boxes and similar. Up to recently a rollback to v18 of Flashplayer, the long term support version, was possible, but Adobe have now stopped doing updates to that release. Is the 'team' actually addressing this problem to find out why the issues occur with Palemoon when the sites work perfectly with Firefox. You can hardly expect Adobe to come to our rescue.

We are aware of the issues.
Not being able to reproduce it ourselves makes it difficult to do anything about -- that being said, it's likely that Adobe's plugin (and whatever they changed in it) will work better in v27.

In the meantime: try disabling hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin if you run into this issue, which seems to be the direct cause of this problem. Right-click any flash movie and change the settings to uncheck "hardware acceleration".

For example this site: http://www.ceskatelevize.cz/ct24#live (It is the online channel of national Czech TV). As described, nothing happens.

The problem is that i can not change the Flash plugin settings because on the site with flash video the Flash plugin is not even uploaded (the right click button do nothing about Flash player, there is usual PM context menu).
I have tried to change the settings in Flash plugin in PM but I can see there no options. I also opened Flash Player utility on my computer and i can see no option of this kind as well. I also have disabled HW accelaration in PM settings but the problem persists.

How to resolve this? I think that it is not good idea to uninstall actual version and go back to older one. What do you think?
Is it going to be fixed with v27?

I too was having these issues, black screen whenever the page was scrolled. Rolling back to v18 fixed the issue.

Well, it seems that it is a major bug of Adobe and PM has nothing to do it with this! Now i found that that FF does not work as well.. I upadted Flash Player also for chromium based browsers and Flash videos do not work there as well - v23.0.0.207 is corrupted!

As i see there are more problems with '207 build'..
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2236218

I will try to go back to older version.

Do you think that last previous version 23.0.0.185 is also corrupted?

Honestly, I don't know. Have heard, that the entire line of 23 versions that is problematic. I can say with confidence, that the esr v18 and v22 will operate normally.
p.s. after installation do not forget to turn off the flash update, since they are not updated anymore.

Well, i uninstalled v23 and installed v22.0.0.209 BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS - NOTHING HAPPENS!
What s going on? I have absolutely no clue where to resolve this. Obviously all browsers they looking up for the player constantly and cannot find it i.e. cannot find the installation...

I found that also my FF does not see the Flash Player installation. I tested it there:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
Also in "about:addons" I can see no Plugin module by name "Shockwave"..
I can see that module in PM but Flash Player does not work as well..

In attachment there are some printscreens of status quo (CNNgo & CT24live).

What to do??

DAMN WITH ADOBE! TRULY!!

i hope you deleted flash player by using Uninstall Flash Player tool? https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe
please, don't use standard windows uninstall for this! try again v.22 http://rgho.st/6zsLTX6dq
if useless, try esr.v18 http://rgho.st/6kLjYnQss

Flash is really an awful thing. It has always been a security nightmare. Some time ago I decided to use only the ESR version. I recently did an update to the latest version- 18.0.0.382. I almost never have issues ever with flash. The worst I see is on YouTube now and then the vid wont load. All it takes to fix that is to hit F5 and it then works fine. If you set flash to Never Activate you may find you see more videos on many sites.

With any luck Flash will become a thing of the past as more of the majors opt not to support it and instead use HTML5 player.

Can you tell me what is the difference between Adobe Flash Player 11.2.XX and 23.0.0.XX? They are both from 2016, they have nearly same date..
More on this website in the section Flash Player archives: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb ... sions.html

Of course, i reinstalled everything with Adobe procedure.

Anyway, i am still facing the problems with Flash Player esp. in Firefox and Pale Moon (FF clone). I uninstalled Flash Player with original tool for this purpose and procedure and reinstalled again the v23.0.0.207 but the problem persists. Respectively it ocasionally works, but i did not find the key why of this behavior. Right now it works in Pale Moon but at night it did not work in both FF and PM browsers. I restarted both browsers in Safe mode (without add-ons) but the problem did not disappear. Need to mention that i tested/testing that on http://www.ceskatelevize.cz/ct24#live.

Any idea what to do now? I can t be sure that it will work constantly.

There are loads of posts in this forum about problems with the latest flash and Pale Moon, with most rolling back to V18. It has also been mentioned in this thread by myself and a few other members!

Have you tried rolling back to V18?

Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.xxx (size around 32 mb) - something like esr version, specially for Linux. 23.0.0.XX - regular version for Windows.

Ad Al6bus: theres is no problem on my Windows copy as it is an original copy;) So cool down about such weird judgements!

Anyway, versions v11.XXX they are for Linux while v23.XX they are for Windows, right?
(https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb ... sions.html)

Well, i have noticed one strange thing - Flash vids occasionally works on my PM. It worked fine just moments ago but after i restarted my PC it does not work again.. (same screenshot). I do not know the theorem heading to this strange behaviour..
(before i started PM i opened FF for a while first - could be the reason that Flash Player is blocked for FF or so?)

I have not try v18 because my FF works fine with Flash Player v23.0.0.7 now.. It seems that i can not use PM for videos - what is crucial feature for work on internet - and maybe i will replace PM with some Chromium based browser because they have no problem with Flash Player as long as Pale Moon developing team will fix this issue in upcomming update. PM It is a good browser but with nonfunctional obstructive video support it is really hard to use.

I myself have no issues with flash player, so it must be something going on with YOUR machine.
