Things that still need doing for Mac

Unread post by Moonchild » 2014-09-25, 09:51

Before Pale Moon for Mac is release-ready as an official publish, a few things still need to be addressed. Anyone with Mac build knowledge aside from the maintainer (cyansmoker) is welcome to contribute.
  • Check if Mac builds complete. LibVPX was updated for v25 and compilation needs to be checked. If the build is bust, this needs to be fixed. Matt A. Tobin has been in charge of mangling the mozbuild system to make this lib build on the Pale Moon tree, so if there are issues with building, contact him and work out a patch.
  • Mac theming needs to be worked on to bring it in line with the Windows and Linux versions of Pale Moon
  • Mac packaging needs to be worked on to pull in the status bar code as part of packaging. It's currently missing from packaged versions.
In the interim, maybe it's easier to make an .app bundle with everything properly included?
