It just werks, thanks.

Blinking YouTube UI bug is still there, but I know it's YouTube hating my malfunctioning GPU. 1 very strange issue with CyTube not working (depending on the source of the stream MAYBE) is gone, and all streams can be watched now.

Thank for keeping us Mac users up to date with the new Pale Moon releases. I have had great luck with them on my older Macs. Very much appreciated!

This kills the apple.

Well, fuck. Now that MC announced that they will remove the support for macOS at a source level I'm again without a browser for daily use. I use Pale Moon because it has a lower memory print (and less anti-user "features") than Chrome/Firefox while being more versatile and capable than Safari. I'll probably continue using dbsoft's forks (if he continues making them) for the foreseeable future, but I honestly don't know where I will move if/once he becomes unable to maintain his fork.
Dammit.

Copy+paste my strategy: make your next computer a PC, and switch to the Linux side. I'd do that yesterday if I had enough money for the model I want. Maybe this year?

Like I already told someone in private with the same concern:
..., the current version will not suddenly "stop working" -- it will simply not receive further updates. This means there is no immediate rush, but please be aware that you will gradually fall behind in feature support and security updates as no further updates will be possible.

Sorry if this inconveniences you but we have no choice but to discontinue Mac OS support.

You can even install Windows on it, if supported by your Mac. Though I will choose Linux if I have a Mac, because *nix!

Lately (last 10 years) Macs have been (with few exceptions) made outdated on release, and not meant to last. If you want to run Linux, sooner than later you will have to get a regular PC.

Just why is it necessary to drop support for MacOS? If Linux is supported, why not Mac? Linux is more similar to MacOS than it is to Windows.

Off-topic:
I'm well aware that Macs support OS other than macOS, and I'll probably move to Linux once Apple and all mayor developers drop Mojave and x86-64 in order to fully move to ARM and the software I use stops getting updates or support. Still, it feels bad to be left behind by one of the few browsers whose devs don't try to sell your soul for pennies.

Not really. Darwin isn't exactly compatible with Linux (it's much closer to BSD), but regardless, how "far removed" one OS target is from another matters very little. In addition there is a lot more to Mac support like cocoa graphics, different widgets, specific file system handling, etc. etc. etc.

The common usage of the term PC is to distinguish it from Macs.
