Languages for Mac OSX
How can I change language? Are language packs available for version 29?
Re: Languages for Mac OSX
I am looking at New Moon 29.0.0a5 but see no options in Preferences to change or install languages.

You have a problem with New Moon.
You are on the forum for Pale Moon.
If you have a problem with Google Chrome, do you go to the Mozilla forums to ask for help?

Off-topic:
To be fair, they probably would know exactly what the problem is, since all that they do these days is copy Chrome code anyway. :P

Who is ignorant? I made a test build of Pale Moon and tagged it as unofficial. For all intents and purposes, it is Pale Moon source code (untouched).

And you have the audacity and arrogance to always think that you are right because of what?moonbat wrote: ↑2020-08-18, 06:43You, when it comes to making a problem statement. If you want language support youask for thatsearch the forum for other people asking the same thing, not play Einstein by building browser from source and then asking where the option to set language is when that's NOT how it works.
I asked a simple question and got responses from not one but several serial idiots. Thanks, but no thanks. I do not recommend this forum to any Internet user!

And I gave you a simple answer. You responded with ignorance opening yourself up for whatever happened later. moonbat aside, which he needs to stop jumping the gun.. I don't see the problem here except you refused to accept my answer or what adesh had to say.

Mate, you did nothing of the sort. You were just your usual smart arsed self. You can make excuses for your self all you like and try to justify your pitiful intelligence until the cows come home. But you will always be known and remembered as as turd.New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2020-08-18, 09:33And I gave you a simple answer. Let's look at it again, shall we?
You asked if there were language packs for 29 -
You asked if there were language packs for 29 -
to which Tobin responded 'with his usual smart arsed self' -
Anyone with at least one fold in their cerebellum would comprehend that there can't be language packs for a non existent stable release but you show up with non sequitur
and then things deservedly turned to shit for you. But yeah, sure, everyone else is to blame and that was such a smart arsed reply to your initial query.
Flush yourself out, Felicia.

Answer:
Locking this thread because you all act like a bunch of overexcited jocks who want to prove their right. Stop it.
- 29.* is in preproduction and not ready, and as such does not have published language packs (at most pre-release in-progress ones courtesy of JustOff)
- "Setting the language " is done by installing language packs form the add-ons site as linked to above. if you build a release versions instead of unstable, install the accompanying language pack
- We have pre-built Mac OS X binaries marked as New Moon posted on the forum because they are not official yet (the maintainers are not yet confident they can serve the Mac population properly with what they have now). This is a QA consideration. Pale Moon language packs should work on (those specific versions of) New Moon, but there are no guarantees at the moment since it is unofficial.
