Scroll bar thumbs invisible at some sites
Having tested NewMoon 24.8.1 in High Sierra, I found the scroll bar handle to be invisible upon visiting certain sites. In fact, the issue appears identical to one that I previously reported to the Waterfox project. Said issue contains further details, along with a fix.

Thanks for the info and links. I submitted a pull request with the fix.

Can verify that the issue is real.

Do you mean the site mentioned (https://testpilot.firefox.com/) on that page has no scrollbar? The only reason it had no scrollbar for me was that the height of the window was more than the height of the page, and therefore no scrollbar was needed. If I reduced the height of the browser window, the scrollbar appeared.
Re: Scroll bar thumbs invisible at some sites
No, that isn't what I meant; the bug under discussion has no impact on that particular site. In any case, the fix has been committed to the UXP repository. All that remains is for a new Mac build to arrive that benefits from it.Goodydino wrote:Do you mean the site mentioned (https://testpilot.firefox.com/) on that page has no scrollbar? EDIT: It may have been that the testpilot site was affected at the time that Graham Perrin brought it up. I do not know for certain, as I did not test it at the time. There are other sites that can be used to demonstrate the issue, such as Ars Technica.
Re: Scroll bar thumbs invisible at some sites
I just checked arstechnica.com, and I see a scrollbar.

Even with the default theme, I still see a scrollbar at arstechnica.com. Would the version of MacOS being used make any difference?
