My first post here :) Thanks for a new build for mac, I''ll post any bugs I find. I'm running osx lion 10.7.5 on a old early 2008 macbook. Gotta have my palemoon!

I got in trouble here before, for posting feedback and asking questions (derailing??). But I'll post this.

No new problems, and, again, I can restore a session from another older build.

Good to know there are no initial boo boo's. If you guys can, play around with the menus, bookmark properties, customize menu bar, etc. Anything UI based. I've given these mac builds a good run, but may have missed things not listed on github. Look there for known current mac issues. If you find something not listed please let us know. Anything UXP/Extension/Theme based should be brought up in the proper forum thread.

Cheers

I just updated to Mojave and it looks like the default colors for themes are now way too light. I noticed this with both LittleMoon and the default theme.

I've had a severe problem with this build and all other builds you've provided. I'm not sure what could be causing whatsoever, and I've even went trough several OS upgrades and each time the bug is present. Any time I click around a window, the File and Edit menu options at the top of screen are rapidly selected and it hijacks whatever I was clicking on. Even if the window is not active it still will grab my input. I've attached a video where you can see the menu bar rapidly highlighting, which happens anytime I click the mouse.

Sorry for compressing the video, it wouldn't let me attach an MP4.

@asimperson Thanks for the info. Seems as though 10.13 and 10.14 changed how the UI works a bit from whats been reported. When i get some extra time i'll try building with a newer SDK and see if that fixes it. With MacOS now trying to be like iOS i fear we may run in to more issues down the line with each new mac release.

@PRIZZA Strange. Can i ask what version on MacOS you are running? Also do you have a wireless mouse in use? Or maybe a twitchy laptop trackpad? Or like 15 things hooked up to a usb hub? Never seen this before or heard anybody else having this kind of odd issue.

Cheers

Try this build. Built with 10.9sdk. Previous builds used the 10.7sdk. Just trying to narrow down where these color quirks are coming from.

I just have a hard drive plugged into USB but the problem existed before I even had the drive plugged in. I'm using the basic magic mouse via Bluetooth for my input and stock keyboard. I was wondering if there's a way for me to debug where these inputs may be coming from? It begins doing it instantly whenever I open the browser. It almost looks like it's trying to do the Command-L shortcut whenever I click, but it happens so fast it's hard to really tell if that's just a quirk or not.

Does anyone know why I cannot erase all the forms? I am still given options to auto-fill nicknames and emails, despite erasing everything.

Highlighting an auto-fill option and pressing shift+delete does it for me. Is that how you're erasing them?

In the past, I simply erased form&browsing history, as well as cookies. That did the trick.

Not anymore, for this build at least.

Removed everything Palemoon (all preferences and files in the ~/Library folder). That lost me all the bookmarks, but I manually restored them.

Already snappiness improved, but the suggestions problem seem to persist. No matter how many times I clear form&search history, no matter how many times I delete every history item (save for cookies), I am still given suggestions based on which nicknames I used recently (or, at least 1 right now).

Have you tried disabling it in prefs?
Preferences -> Privacy -> History -> Use custom settings for history -> uncheck "remember search and form history"

Cheers

That fixed it!

But still, when I erase form and search history, it should be erased, right? It has always been that way, so this must be a new bug.

This never bothered me TOO MUCH, but some websites load without a scroll bar. Changing the useragent to something else does not do anything.

Looks like this build is suffering from eventual, slowly creeping lag (it gets more annoying the more the browser is open and used). My other 2 browsers (latest Waterfox and Safari) have no such issue (at least not anymore).

For the record, I am using a mid-2012 Macbook Pro with 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. Maybe it's slight incompatibility?
