28.0.0

Post by SpockFan02 » 2018-08-26, 21:52

wicknix hasn't gotten to it, so have a build from me! :)

This is Pale Moon 28.0.0 (64-bit), built with the Mac OS X 10.7 SDK. It should run on Mac OS X 10.7 and higher. There are still a few kinks to be worked out, so this is not an official release and it uses the unofficial branding. Please report problems here on the forum or on GitHub (Mac-specific problems tracked in Issue #689 (UXP)).

Actually i built official branded 28 on the 17th, but didn't link to it because i'm not sure we have the "go ahead" yet. Aside from that, thanks for doing the unofficial build.

Cheers.

So, is this the end of the road for 10.6? :(

Yes jack.

The platform and its applications are solely designed for reasonably modern hardware and updated system software only. For Macintosh that means we no longer support OS X < 10.7

So, would I be able to provide feedback in THIS thread, or will that get the thread locked again?

Forum use 101: if you have a specific subject/issue you want to discuss or need help with, then create a topic dedicated to it.

"Restore Previous Session" is compatible with the prior unofficial build, and "no NoScript icon on some windows" bug is fixed. Thanks a bunch!

I just discovered that I cannot view selected source code. I can see the code for a whole page, but I get a blank document if I select something and try to view source code. I tried that with the default theme and then with all extensions disabled, and the result was the same.

It's already been reported more than once and is fixed on trunk. It will be in the next release.
