I wonder if changing the user agent for Yahoo will fix Yahoo.

For those that are having problems with Yahoo! mail. If you have the latest updated layout, you need to log into your Yahoo! mail account via an updated version of Waterfox or an updated version of one of the big three Mac browsers. Once logged in you need to go into settings via the gear icon located at the upper right corner by your name and select Settings. Then in the Settings screen, select Viewing email, then tick Basic under Mail version, you will be switch back to the previous layout. And I can assure you it is as full featured as the new one just with a slightly different layout. Then you can log out and the next time you log into your Yahoo! mail account via Pale Moon all will be good again. Just make sure to never click on the box at the bottom left of your screen that says "One click away from your updated Inbox". But if you do end up clicking on the box or any Yahoo! prompts to upgrade, just repeat the above steps. This is a fix for the time being, but for how log, that is up to Yahoo! Hop this helps.

Looks like there is some sort of memory leak (excusable since this is still beta). The updated Waterfox NOW takes about 2 GB normally. When I first got Palemoon, it started with about 800MB, but then grew and grew, but not TOO much. Now, the footprint can easily get above 2GB.

And the CPU usage can suddenly spike to 100% (or 200%, like now), but that might be arseholes using my machine to mine cryptocurrency. I heard YouTube is a major source of that crap, so I'll keep AdBlock firmly ON for now and see if that helps.

I think I found a (one, not the only) cause of sudden CPU spikes: whenever a page does not load fast enough, whenever there is some lag (in the page loading, not the signal), fans kick in, due to CPU suddenly rising, up to 300%. OR maybe this is simply some pages that hate you and your browser.

THESE page are responsible for a never before measured increase to 300% CPU:

I have 16 windows and maybe too many tabs (overall, on average) open. But is that the reason the CPU usage by Palemoon alone is at 100% for an hour?

Either I am giving somebody cryptocurrency, or Palemoon has some leakage.

Changed Yahoo back to classic mode, now works on this build of Palemoon.

Well, now Palemoon makes my laptop overheat as much if not more than before. Same number if windows and tabs open per session as Waterfox.

Facebook changed in its code, and some things (like commenting) do not work on this build anymore. Nothing could be done.
